I have been following the city regarding Lake Wyman for several years.
The city has basically rejected any plan for the lake that does not include a "DOCK" - See my blog post: blog.bocatowers.com/2016/10/boca-raton-lake-wyman-note-i-am-not.html There are several posts in the blog referencing Lake Wyman / Ocean Strand, try this one... blog.bocatowers.com/2016/10/the-city-is-going-to-ruin-lake-wyman.html It is my view: The City of Boca is intent on closing the downtown dock and moving this traffic to Lake Wyman - Lake Wyman is surrounded by mangroves - If a public dock is put forward, the trash will be absorbed into the landscape... I am hopeful there will be a plan put forth to counter this before a dock is built - I believe it is inevitable, the dock will come to be - as the city will not stop until they get what they want - not what the people want.
